HANSON, MASS. (WHDH) - Officials in Hanson say they conducted a thorough investigation after finding a student who brought bullets to school.
The incident occurred at Hanson Middle School. Officials say a student brought two bullets on to school grounds on Friday.
The school resource officer was notified, and school administrators as well as Hanson State Police officers questioned the student.
Officials determined there was no threat to the school.
A search determined there were no weapons associated with the bullets.
A release provided by the school says officials know how the student came into possession of the bullets but did not specify.
School officials say they will issue appropriate discipline after completing their investigation into the incident.
