The Harlem Globetrotters have wowed fans for almost a century and are bringing their 90th anniversary show to TD Garden this weekend.
"It’s gonna be special, 90 years," said Wun "The Shot" Versher, who has been with the Globetrotters for 21 years. "We’re gonna do a lot of high-flying dunks, the things that people remember about the Harlem Globetrotters." Versher and teammate El Gate Melendez promised a lot of stunts and fan interaction at their shows.
Versher also said he and his teammates are looking forward to playing at the Garden.
"Much like the Globetrotters, the Celtics have this rich history and when you come in here, you can just feel the energy. And the parquet floor, you’re never gonna miss."
The Globetrotters will be at the Garden Saturday and Sunday.
