Researchers could be closer to finding a treatment for a very aggressive form of breast cancer.

Researchers at the University of Colorado said three experimental drugs have shown promise treating what’s known as “triple-negative” breast cancer.

Each of the drugs helped stabilize the disease in about one third of women who had not responded to other treatments.

Right now, there are no therapies that specifically target “triple-negative” breast cancer.

The new drugs are not yet approved by the FDA.
