New research shows naps might not be beneficial for children over the age of 2.

A recent study found children over 2 years old who napped during the day had a harder time falling asleep at night.

The study also found napping shortened the time the children remained asleep.

Parents are reminded that despite the study, each child has different needs. Parents are recommended to check with their child’s pediatrician before making any changes.
