PITTSBURGH (WHDH) — Towns in the Midwest are cleaning up Monday after wild weather dumped heavy rain and flooding on the area.
Storms began in Ohio on Sunday evening. Within a few hours, up to 8 inches of rain fell in parts of the state. A flash flood emergency was declared for several counties.
The rain then moved on to Pennsylvania. The downpours caused massive flooding and police were called in to block off some roads. Several people had to be rescued from cars that got stuck.
