Four beaches in Scituate were closed as of Thursday due to high levels of bacteria in the water.
Those beaches were Humarock, Peggotty, Egypt, and Minot.
Water samples were taken Tuesday.
More testing was being done and resulted were expected to be available on the town’s website on Thursday.
