CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. (WHDH) — Hillary Clinton was spotted out in New York on Thursday for the first time since her concession speech.
Margot Gerster and her 13-month-old daughter were out on a hiking trail near Chappaqua, New York when they came across Clinton and her husband Bill. The Clintons have a home in Chappaqua.
“It was completely by chance,” said Gerster. “I literally hike that trail almost every day.”
Gerster posed with Clinton for a photo and said the former presidential candidate was very kind and asked about her daughter. Just two days after the election, Gerster said Clinton did not seem too fazed.
“I think she seemed as well as anybody could expect,” said Gerster.
