A man in Colorado got a big surprise recently when he realized his house had been listed for sale – without his knowledge.
Homeowner Brian Lusk said his home in Erie was listed in a newspaper for sale. However, Lusk never listed the house.
"2,100 square feet, three bedroom, two bath – home in Erie, for sale bet offer,” the listing read, which included a picture.
Lusk and his family had moved into the home six months ago and were still settling into it.
The ad also said the homeowners were getting divorced and that the house would sell in exchange for two tickets to the Super Bowl.
Lusk, however, figured out what was going on.
“I have a buddy who’s a good Pittsburgh Steelers fan and we had some bets going for the Steelers game and of course the Broncos won so I rode him pretty hard for two or three days and gave him a lot of heck,” Lusk said.
That friend listed the home in several newspapers triggering many calls to Lusk from people interested in buying the home.
However, Lusk said he has had enough. He wants the calls to stop and has a message for his friend.
“Alright Brian, you’re winning…but only for now. I’ve got all of Bronco nation thinking of the best way to get back at ya,” Lusk said to his friend.
