BEVERLY, MASS. (WHDH) - Police have launched a homicide investigation in Beverly, officials announced Friday.

Officers responding to the area of 10 Summer St. found a man dead, according to the office of the Essex County District Attorney, Jonathan W. Blodgett.

The area has since been roped off with yellow crime scene tape.

Police did not say if any arrests have been made.

No further information has been released.
