Welp…..finally, that dang humidity has been flushed out of here—and with good riddance! High Pressure has settled into New England and will spend some its vacation days with us. This means any outdoor plans you may have today and into the weekend will not be met with any risk of rain, lightning or the humidity. Temps will be seasonal today & tomorrow and then start creeping up as we roll through the weekend. That temp rise will also allow a little more humidity to return by Sunday but nothing like we just had. As we step into next week–last week of summer (unofficially, of course)–our pattern is nothing but summer. High Pressure is still with us so more sunshine is on tap. This sunshine will eventually start to bake our air, sending temps up through the 80s (even close to 90 for some). In terms of showers or storms, a random late day storm will possible each afternoon but no organized areas of showers/storms expected for several days.
Enjoy!
