Nearly 300 patients at Hartford Hospital have been exposed to a drug-resistant form of E. coli over the past year.
The bacteria was transmitted through endoscopic procedures.
The hospital contacted patients who underwent the procedure but don’t believe anyone has been infected.
Patients are being urged to get tested.
