Rain moves in…peeps go to sleep…peeps wake up…rain moves out. That’s how I like it and I’m sure you do too as we need rain but not the commuting headaches that come with storminess. Most towns picked up between .50-1.00" of rain overnight taking a nice chunk out of our monthly deficit (still have a ways to go for our yearly deficit of nearly 8") Let’s talk about the fun stuff now…

….That being sunshine & mild temps. This morning our temps are running nearly 40 degrees warmer than Wednesday morning with most towns in the upper 50s right now! You can thank this rain-maker for bringing the warmth to New England and even tho the rain-maker jumps out of town before 8am we get to hold onto the warmth for most of the day. Sunshine comes back into the equation by later this morning and hangs with us for the afternoon. Even tho our afternoon is loaded with sunshine, temps will actually slip a little bit–mid 50s–and then really tumble after 4pm, heading for the 40s by the evening commute.

The weekend features cool but pleasant weather tomorrow with a mix of sun & clouds (temps in the upper 40s) while Sunday sees a cool front head this way with clouds & a few morning sprinkles. Ironically enough, the cool front warms temps into the low 50s by afternoon before living up to its name with much colder air by early next week. Speaking of next week, lots of travel likely but no significant weather to impact your travel plans. More on that Monday!

Have a great weekend!
