BOSTON (WHDH) - Attorney General Maura Healey announced Thursday her office has reached an agreement with IndyCar to refund customers $925,000 for tickets purchased for the cancelled Boston Grand Prix.

Healey also filed suit again Boston Grand Prix, LLC and CEO John Casey, seeking full refunds for all ticket purchasers.

Nearly 4,000 people purchased tickets in advance of the planned Labor Day race, spending over $2 million. Boston Grand Prix refunded customers approximately $400,000 before they stopped giving refunds, Healey’s office said.

IndyCar has agreed to pay $925,000 of the amount due.
