Italian beach volleyball player Viktoria Orsi Toth will miss the Rio Olympics after testing positive for a banned substance, the Italian volleyball federation confirmed to NBC Olympics.

Orsi Toth was set to make her Olympic debut in Rio alongside London Olympian Marta Menegatti.

The Italian volleyball federation announced that Orsi Toth tested positive for clostebol metabolite, a banned substance, on Tuesday. She was suspended as a “precautionary measure” before testing positively in a second screening Wednesday morning.

With Orsi Toth banned from the Rio Olympic Games, Menegatti must look for a new partner. She is expected to compete with U.S.-born player Becky Perry, according to Italian news source Gazzetta. Perry, who is a naturalized Italian citizen, played professional indoor volleyball in Puerto Rico, South Korea, Italy and Poland. In 2016, she began competing for Italy in beach volleyball.

The Italian women are scheduled to play their first Olympic match on Aug. 7 against Canada’s Jamie Broder and Kristina Valjas.
