Weekend = snow. Will the circle be unbroken?
I’ll tell you one thing. I’m kinda done working 6 weekends in a row. Don’t get me wrong, I love snow, and the best of every season. AND I don’t mind working…but the dog barks at me like a stranger when I come home now. I have to reintroduce myself to my family. The neighbor even comes over to check and “see who that strange man was that pulled up last night”.
There’s a lot to talk about again tonight. The main batch of snow is rolling through now, so if you’re snowing steadily (or even moderately) it will stay that way through midnight. If you’re spitting snow and occasionally go to flurries, it will stay that way too. The lines will hold, Toto (the band, not the dog). And come morning, the storm will be long gone.
* Steady snow lasts through 1am
* Heaviest snow Taunton/Plymouth to Buzzards Bay and the Cape
* Changeover to mix/rain on the Islands
* All precipitation ends by 2-3am.
* No problems for the morning commute
And lastly, we’ll see some sun and lots of melting tomorrow. It’s high time we challenged the upper 30s, don’t you think? And what’s more is I think we’ll do even better by the middle of the week. A warm weather system pushes through and if we see some sun Wednesday afternoon 50s are possible.
Joe Amorosino asked me when I think the snow will be gone. As in ALL of the snow. My answer: early to mid April. Don’t ever bet against the late March/early April sun. It can cook those snowbanks to a puddle.
It’s “fry” time we made this happen. Or else I’m going to add Weekend Meteorologist to my resume.
