WASHINGTON (AP) — Ivanka Trump will give a speech in Japan next month at a conference on women’s empowerment.

The White House says Wednesday that the White House adviser is visiting at the invitation of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (shin-zoh AH’-bay). She will speak at the World Assembly for Women on Nov. 3.

In her remarks, she will focus on female entrepreneurs and women participating in the economy.

The White House did not answer questions on whether she would join President Donald Trump during his upcoming trip through Asia. The president is expected to visit five countries from Nov. 3 to Nov. 14.

The president’s daughter made an official visit to Germany earlier in the year and conducted meetings with foreign officials during United Nations meetings last month.
