A big name actor and a Boston Marathon bombing survivor are getting into the team spirit.
Jake Gyllenhaal is starring as Jeff Bauman in the upcoming movie "Stronger," which starts filming in Boston this spring.
Gyllenhaal is now joining Boston Medical Center’s Boston Marathon team.
Bauman and Gyllenhaal will be honorary co-captains for the team, which raises money for the medical center.
Bauman lost both his legs in the Marathon bombings in 2013.
Bauman said it is an honor to serve as co-captain with Gyllenhaal for the hospital that treated him and so many other victims.
