The prosecution has been denied a piece of evidence in the double murder case involving Aaron Hernandez.
They will not be able to use the former New England Patriots player’s cell phone as evidence.
Hernandez had turned over that cell phone to his attorney as the police investigation into the murder of Odin Lloyd began in 2013.
Hernandez was convicted in that case.
The court ruled attorney-client privilege protected Hernandez and his phone would not have to be turned over.
