A Massachusetts judge says the all-girls Catholic school in Milton that rescinded a job offer to a gay man, violated state anti-discrimination laws.

Matthew Barrett says Fontbonne Academy pulled a job offer because he’s married to another man.

A judge ruled the school discriminated against him based on sexual orientation, rejecting Fontbonne’s claim that it should be exempt from the law because it would infringe on freedom of religion.
