Kaiser Carlile's father said he knew his son's presence was there at the Liberal Bee Jays game at the National Baseball Congress World Series Tuesday.
During the game, the team honored the bat boy, who died after being hit in the head by a bat.
"Out here at the ball field, honoring Kaiser, it's tremendous, something I would have never dreamed of," said Chad Carlile, Kaiser's dad, as he watched the team return to the field. "I could not leave this team behind."
Kaiser's younger sister threw out the first pitch of the game, to applause from the crowd and followed by a big hug from one of the players.
The National Baseball Congress gave out Kaiser Carlile baseball player cards, asking fans for donations to the Carlile family.
