Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk who was jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, is filing a new appeal.

Davis is asking a federal court to reverse rulings that her lawyers say trample her religious rights. One of the rulings requires Davis to issue the licenses.

Davis has allowed her deputies to issue licenses since she was released from jail.
