BOSTON (WHDH) - The labor union representing thousands of nurses at Brigham and Women’s hospital plans to vote to authorize a one-day strike later this month.
The vote would follow months of contract negotiations between the Massachusetts nurses association and Brigham.
The nurses say that the hospital is not giving fair pay raises, while increasing health insurance premiums and decreasing time off for new nurses.
