Sunshine is back at it today so plan on a glorious Friday Eve as temps head for the low 60s this afternoon. High Pressure is the one to thank for the sunshine these past two days. The position of that High is a little different today–one where a gentle onshore wind occurs for much of the day. This means coastal areas will see temps in the upper 50s. All in all, a great day for outdoor activities.

Tomorrow, the High Pressure fades away as our next system affects the region. It’s a weak system but it will drag a bag of clouds into New England for much of the day. In terms of rain, just a little bit during the morning (less than .20″) but enough to force you to grab the rain gear for the morning hours. It’s dry tomorrow afternoon so any “business meetings” on the golf course should be fine.

The weekend is loaded with awesome-sauce as both days feature sunshine. Saturday will be the warmer of the two days as most cities & towns make a run into the low 70s—perhaps a beach day! Sunday we see the numbers back off a little bit—low 60s which is still above normal for this time of year.

Patriots Day/Marathon Monday looks decent. There will be a rain storm approaching from the west late in the day but as of now, rain should hold off until after 4pm (some sprinkles are possible after 2pm). Temps will be just about ideal…40s in the morning & low 50s for midday/afternoon with low humidity all day.
