LG Electronics used a prank to make a commercial in Chile.
The company made a fake office and used one its 82-inch Ultra HD TV as a window. LG then brought in four unsuspecting job applicants for interviews.
During each interview, the screen showed a meteor crashing into the city. The lights then go out before it is revealed it was all a joke.
This type of marketing is known as a “prankvertisement.”
The commercial was posted online Monday and has been viewed more than 700,000 times.
