Some local political leaders made an appearance on the DNC stage Monday night.
Boston Mayor Marty Walsh opened up about his addiction.
“My name is Marty Walsh and I’m an alcoholic. Everybody was loading faith in me, everybody except my family and the labor movement. There’s no doubt in my mind that Hillary Clinton is the champion that workers need,” said Walsh.
Congressman Joe Kennedy, a former law student of Senator Elizabeth Warren, gave her praise.
“In a sea of privilege, Senator Warren is an anchor for the voiceless and victimized,” said Kennedy.
Kennedy said Warren was tough, but there was always a wait to get into her class.
