The brother of murdered MIT police officer Sean Collier will appear before Congress Wednesday to help introduce a bill calling for an official day to honor first responders.

The Tsarnaev brothers shot and killed Collier in the days following the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013.

Collier’s brother, Andrew, will join Congressman Michael Capuano to promote the bill, which would lead to the creation of National First Responders Day.
