BARNSTABLE, MASS. (WHDH) - Barnstable Police arrested three suspects after reported armed robbery on Saturday.

Police responded to Willow Tree Market in Hyannis and learned that two suspects entered the store, when one of the suspects approached the counter and pulled out a pistol.

The first suspect, Cody Martin, 19, pointed the gun at the employee, fired a single round and demanded money. The second suspect, Lamar Pringle, 19 of Hyannis, went to a different area of the store.

The store employee wasn’t struck by the gunfire. He handed the cash to Martin.

The suspects ran the scene.

Barnstable Police were able to quickly identify Martin from store surveillance video.

Police spotted Martin walking on Main Street in Hyannis on Sunday. Pringle, as well as a local boy, were in Martin’s company. Police were able to identify Pringle as the second suspect.

The teenager with Martin and Pringle was in possession of a loaded pistol when police approached them.

All three were arrested.

Martin and Pringle were arraigned in Barnstable District Court on Monday. They are being held without bail. Martin has been charged with armed robbery, assault by means of a dangerous weapon/firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, larceny in a building, attempt to commit A&B by discharging a firearm, three default warrants from Barnstable Court. Pringle has been charged with armed robbery.

The teenager was arraigned for illegally possessing a fire arm in juvenile court. He has been placed in DCF custody.
