NORTH ATTLEBORO, MASS. (WHDH) - At least four soccer coaches at North Attleboro High School have resigned after an accusation of inappropriate practice drills.

According to parents, a player on the girls team was asked to perform an exercise known as the “bear crawl.”

In a statement, the school’s superintendent would only say the drill caused “confusion and concern” and that “the situation did not reflect the core values of the district.”

The team’s head coach insists he did not do anything wrong and says he has received an outpouring of support from the local community.
