STRATHAM, N.H. (WHDH) — A Massachusetts Department of Children and Families employee was arrested for allegedly flashing a gun at another driver in a possible case of road rage.
The incident happened on Route 108 near a Honda dealership in Stratham, New Hampshire. According to police, the suspect admitted he pulled a gun out and flew into a rage when he did not let another car merge into his travel lane. Police said he had a child in his car at the time.
The driver of the other car said he told police that when he honked his horn, the suspect rear-ended him and pointed a gun at him when they pulled over. The suspect blamed the rear-end collision on the other driver slamming his brakes.
The suspect was charged with reckless conduct and endangering the welfare of a child.

“The Department takes these matters seriously, is cooperating with law enforcement and has placed the individual in question on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.”
