MANCHESTER, N.H. (WHDH) - New Hampshire State Police are investigating a deadly crash following a chase in Manchester.

On Tuesday, police received reports of a pickup truck travelling erratically on Interstate 93 in Salem.

The car was reportedly swerving from side to side on the highway, preventing other cars from passing it.

The car was registered to Byran Martinez, 36 of Hingham, MA.

Police said the truck then hit two other vehicles and continued on the highway.

Police attempted to stop the truck, but the driver refused, continuing at approximately 100 miles per hour.

The truck eventually lost control and went off the road, hitting several trees and ejecting the driver.

The truck then caught fire and officers dragged the driver away from the truck.

The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

He was then positively identified at Martinez.

Police said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the collision, but Martinez was not wearing his seat belt.
