WESTPORT, Mass. (WHDH) – Police in Westport rescued a horse from the ocean on Tuesday.
The horse threw off its rider and then fell into the ocean at Horseneck Beach. The horse then started swimming away from the shore.
Police were able to jump in and guide the horse to safety before it tired itself out. The horse and its owner are both doing OK.
