ROCHESTER, MASS. (WHDH) - Authorities are turning to the public for help after the remains of a newborn baby girl were found at a regional recycling facility in Rochester on Thursday. 

State police announced Saturday that the facility was Zero Waste Solutions at 50 Cranberry Highway and that the baby was found in a trash collection that appears to have originated from Martha’s Vineyard.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has begun post-mortem examination of the baby. Results from that examination, which is ongoing, have not yet been released.
