A lone turkey caused traffic on Route 93 Southbound in Somerville on Sunday.
Drivers reported seeing the turkey trying to cross the highway near Exit 28.
Police say the turkey backed up traffic for over an hour.
The Animal Rescue League eventually rescued and removed the turkey from the highway.
