MALDEN, MASS. (WHDH) - A Stoneham man and trained MMA fighter accused of beating his girlfriend was determined dangerous and is being held without bail.
James Armato, 27, was charged with strangulation, attempted murder, assault and battery on a household or family member and resisting arrest.
The incident took place last week. Gina Antonelli, Armato’s girlfriend, was taken to Mass General Hospital with injuries to her face and neck.
