AMHERST, MASS. (WHDH) - A man in Amherst has been arrested for allegedly posing as an Uber driver and indecently assaulting a UMass student.
UMass Police said the student was off-campus when 18-year-old Samuel Texidor approached her and offered to drive her to campus Saturday morning.
He then allegedly assaulted her.
The student was able to escape.
Police are still investigating the incident.
