REVERE, MASS. (WHDH) - A man was charged with OUI Saturday after police said he struck a state trooper in Revere Saturday.
Police said 26-year-old Danilo Diroche of Lynn struck the trooper with his motorcycle around 5:30 p.m. on Revere Beach Boulevard.
According to police, Diroche struck a car after hitting the trooper, and then tried to run away on foot.
The trooper was taken to Mass General Hospital and is expected to be OK. Diroche was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He has been charged with OUI and leaving the scene of a crash that caused personal injury.
