METHUEN, MASS. (WHDH) - Police are investigating a fatal car crash in Methuen.
According to police, a Beverly man was driving on I-93 southbound near the overpass at Exit 46 in Methuen.
State police said the man was taken to Lawrence General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police initially thought the man drove off the overpass, but later learned he never stopped when he entered the rotary. He then crashed into a pile of dirt.
No one else was injured during the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
