BOSTON (WHDH) - A Boston man wanted for rape has been arrested after allegedly “upskirting” at an MBTA station.

On Sept. 20, around 3:30 p.m., officer received a report from the Porter Square station of a man who was secretly taking videos of female passengers.

When officers arrived, they were met by a female victim who informed them a fellow passenger pointed out a man, later identified as James Cullers, 51.

According to police, the victim confronted Cullers, who admitted to the act and agreed to delete the video.

An officer approached Cullers, who was holding a cellphone in his hand. When officers approached Cullers began to manipulate the phone and apologize.

He was placed into custody for making a secret video (aka “upskirting”) and transport for booking.

During the booking process it was discovered there was a warrant for his arrest for rape and two counts of assault and battery.
