BOSTON (WHDH) - The Prudential Tower shined bright blue to honor the East Boston police officers who were shot while responding to a domestic disturbance last Wednesday.
The officials, Boston Police Department veterans Richard Cintolo and Matt Morris, remain in critical but stable condition at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Monday night, Saint Joseph and Lazarus Church in East Boston will hold a mass to honor those officers and the Boston Police Department.
The officers, BPD veterans Rick Cintolo and Matt Morris, were wounded Wednesday night after they responded to a domestic disturbance call. When they arrived, police said Kirk Figueroa opened fire, shooting both officers. He was killed in the gunfight. Both officers remain hospitalized.
Cintolo and Morris remain hospitalized. Both underwent additional surgeries Friday morning and remain in critical condition.
