LYNN, MASS. (WHDH) - A young girl missing for hours Monday afternoon was found safe that evening.
Police said Laura Ofurie, 8, had last been seen around 3 p.m. Monday. Her father told police he brought her home from school, made her food, then went into the shower. When he got out, she was gone.
Police credit someone on their Facebook page with giving them the tip that led them to Laura. She was found at a playground near the Nahant-Lynn traffic circle. She was reunited with her family and police said she was healthy but a little scared.
