DRACUT, Mass. (AP) — Police in Massachusetts say a motorcyclist has died from injuries he suffered when he collided with a car at an intersection.

Crews responded to the scene in Dracut (DRAY’-kut) around 4 p.m. Wednesday. The man was airlifted to a Boston hospital with serious injuries.

Deputy Police Chief David Chartrand tells The Sun (http://bit.ly/2d9gIMG ) the man later died of his injuries. He wasn’t immediately identified.

A preliminary investigation determined the motorcycle was traveling southbound when it struck a sedan that was turning from a northbound lane.

No charges have been filed pending the completion of an investigation.
