FRAMINGHAM, MASS. (WHDH) - A woman was arrested after police said she lost her temper over a pizza order and threw a sign at a child.
Police said 36-year-old Iesha Davis ordered a pizza from Framingham Sub Shop and Pizza on Concord Street. Davis allegedly asked for chicken on the pizza when she came to pick it up. When owner Odeit Shokralla told her adding chicken would cost more, police said Davis picked up a metal sign and threw it. The sign struck Shokralla’s 11-year-old daughter in the face.
Shokralla said she and her daughter were not hurt.
Davis allegedly drove away from the restaurant and was tracked down at her home in Ashland. She was arrested and charged with assault and battery. According to court documents, Davis told police, “I threw the sign but I didn’t hit anybody’s child.”
Davis was released on bail and told to stay away from the restaurant and anyone involved in the incident. She is due back in court next month.
