PROVIDENCE, RI (WHDH) — A Rhode Island man pleaded guilt Friday to possession and distribution of child pornography.
Matthew Pasetti, 35 of West Warwick was arrested after police seized approximately 600 videos and 175,000 images depicting child pornography involving young children in 2015.
Investigators identified an IP address that was sharing child porn and identified it was registered to Pasetti. A court-authorized search of Pasetti’s home resulted in the seizure of a laptop and several digital storage devices.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in January 2017.
