BOSTON (WHDH) - A construction site in Boston’s Seaport District has turned into an archaeological dig as a shipwreck from the 19th century has been discovered.
The ship, dating back to the 1800s, was unearthed on Seaport Boulevard. Teams are now on site to document what they find.
Archaeologists said they expect to be digging until Friday and will be sharing updates on Twitter with the hashtag #SeaportShipwreck.
