DUXBURY, MASS. (WHDH) - A construction worker has died after a tragic accident in a trench in Duxbury.
Duxbury Fire Department confirmed that an injured worker died following a construction accident.
Firefighters said the worker was in a trench, when a power saw kicked back.
Crews tried to save the 28-year-old man’s life.
The incident happened near Newtown Way off of Tremont Street in Duxbury.
Fire officials said the worker was initially taken to Beth Israel Plymouth in serious condition.
OSHA is investigating.

DXFD paramedics transported the victim of a construction accident to Beth Israel Plymouth in serious condition earlier. OSHA is on scene.
