ROXBURY, MA (WHDH) — A suspect wanted in connection with an attempted sexual assault in Roxbury has been arrested.
On Saturday, Oct. 8, officers responded to a call for an attempted sexual assault in the area of Fitzgerald Park on Mission Hill.
When officers arrived, they spoke with a victim, who stated a man approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her before running away.
On Thursday, Oct. 13, officers arrested Jose Cepeda, 32 of Roxbury. He will appear in court on charges of assault with intent to rob and indecent assault and battery.
Boston Police credited community members who came forward with information with helping in the arrest.
