Rescue crews are on the scene in Gloucester to help a humpback whale caught in a fishing line.

Officials said a fisherman found the whale Wednesday morning about 4 miles off the coast of Gloucester.

Crews from the Center for Coastal Studies and the Massachusetts Environmental Police are involved in the whale rescue. Buoys have been attached to the whale to keep it close to the surface as the fishing line is removed.
