CAMBRIDGE, MASS. (WHDH) - More than a hundred people showed up to Porter Square to pay respect to a bicyclist killed last week.
Bernard Lavins, 60, of Lexington was the bicyclist who was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer in Porter Square on Oct. 5.
Those who attended adorned candles and flowers around a white bicycle in the area, and called for change in bike safety.
Those living in the area say Porter Square is a notoriously dangerous intersection for bikers and pedestrians.
