Watertown police search for man who allegedly confronted jogger

WATERTOWN, MASS. (WHDH) - Watertown Police are searching for a suspicious man who allegedly confronted a jogger in Watertown.

Last Friday, a woman reported to police while she was jogging on Mount Auburn Street around 6:15 p.m. she believed she was being followed by an unknown man.

At two separate points during her jog, once in the Watertown Square area and again near the Hosmer Elementary School Field, she said she was approached by the man.

The woman told police the man got extremely close, moving into her personal space, which concerned her.

While doing so, the man reportedly said “Can I ask you something?”

After the second encounter, police said the woman became extremely concerned and called police.
