HOLYOKE, MASS. (WHDH) - An anonymous and threatening letter was sent to the Mayor of Holyoke.
The openly gay mayor, Alex Morse, said someone left a hateful and homophobic note at his home.
The letter read:
Alex, you are one of the most selfish people that I know due to your gay lifestyle. You are going down.
Morse has decided to keep it.
“I like keeping those things for motivation, inspiration, um, in the event I want to report it I think it’s important to keep it,” said Mayor Morse.
Morse said he saved every hateful card or message sent to him for the same reason.
